Basketball players Warriors on the brink of second round NBA playoffs

The Golden State Warrriors basketball players are one win away from the second round of the NBA playoffs. The team won 118-113 against Denver Nuggets to take a 3-0 lead in the best-of-seven.

The Warriors, five-time NBA champions, relied on their skilled shooters. Stephen Curry and Jordan Poole scored 27 points, Klay Thompson scored 26. Nikola Jokic was the Nuggets’ top scorer with 37 points, but despite his high production he was unable to avert the third loss in a row.

Memphis Grizzlies made an impressive comeback against Minnesota Timberwolves. The team turned a deficit of 26 points into a victory with 9 points difference: 104-95. The Grizzlies led 2-1 in the playoff. Desmond Bane (26 points) and Brandon Clarke (20) were the sharpshooters for the Memphis squad.
