Basketball star Dennis Schröder suffered a painful overtime defeat with the Los Angeles Lakers in the NBA.
The German national team captain lost with the Californians 122:133 in overtime at the Philadelphia 76ers. Schroeder had four points, a rebound and four assists for the Lakers.
In the Pacific Division, LA is fifth and last, it was the third loss in a row.

Franz Wagner scored an outstanding 34 points for Orlando Magic in a 113:109 against the Toronto Raptors. There were also five rebounds and two assists.
It was Magic’s second straight win. His brother Moritz had eleven points, four rebounds and two assists.
However, Orlando remains fifth and last in the Southeast Division. Most recently, a series of nine bankruptcies in a row for Magic came to an end against the Los Angeles Clippers (116:111 aet).
In the 121:102 win of the New York Knicks at the Charlotte Hornets, German professional Isaiah Hartenstein scored eleven points, eight rebounds and two assists for the guests.
