The Munich team should have played against defending champion Efes Istanbul on Friday (January 7th, 2022), the Berlin team would have been challenged on Thursday at home against Panathinaikos Athens. In addition, the game Zalgiris Kaunas against Olympiacos is canceled.
After several corona cases in their teams, Panathinaikos, Efes and Olympiakos asked for a transfer because they do not have at least eight players available as required.
Up to three new appointments are possible
Each game in the Euroleague can be rescheduled up to three times in accordance with the special regulations for the corona pandemic, if free dates are available. Catch-up dates have not yet been set.
Most recently, the Munich game at Asvel Villeurbanne was postponed due to the corona. The duel with the French should now take place on January 25th (9:00 p.m.). The Alba game scheduled for last week at Armani Milan could not be kicked off either and was postponed to January 18 (8:30 p.m.).
