The “classic” returns to the scene with special effects at the opening of the 12th matchday of Serie A: Olimpia Milano beats Cantù 94-89 at the PalaDesio. The best of EA7 is undoubtedly the unstoppable Nebo, who signs his career-high with 22 points, accompanied by 11 rebounds. Seasonal high also for the former Bortolani of the evening (21 points), fundamental as well as the new addition Erick Green, which however were not enough for Acqua San Bernardo, condemned by a wasted possession by Sneed in the last seconds of the match. While waiting for tomorrow’s matches, EA7 momentarily holds Venezia in third place, consolidating its position in the standings in view of the Final Eight of the Italian Cup.

Ready to go, and already after 100” it is already 7-0 in favor of Milan, who find the key to their excellent start in Ellis and LeDay. After almost 3′ without a basket, Cantù broke the deadlock late with the pair of former players Bortolani-Moraschini, but the defensive holes under the basket (6/8 conceded near the rim in the first 10′) kept the hosts in check, who trailed 22-29 at the end of the first quarter.
