Basketball runner-up Telekom Baskets Bonn has strengthened their squad with Canadian national player Thomas Kennedy.
The 2.06 m tall center, who was voted the best university player in his home country last year, is moving from the Windsor Lancers to the Bundesliga and has signed a contract until 2025. The Baskets announced this on Tuesday.
“Thomas will always give us a lot of energy as a center on both sides of the field,” said head coach Roel Moors: “He’s physically strong, moves well and is a good passer for his position. I still see a lot of development potential in him, which is why we signed him for two years.”
The American Collin Malcolm will leave the reigning Champions League winner Bonn after just one season.
