They’re already two wins up and two wins down, so the Towers could easily end up in seventh place. The last game could give hope for a chance in the playoffs. On Sunday, the Towers beat Munich 87:83 in a tight game in front of their home crowd.

Berlin would like to secure the playoff home advantage on this matchday. A win in today’s game and a defeat by Ulm against leaders Bonn would already secure a place in the top four. But the second in the table from Berlin has higher goals for the rest of the regular season, namely the top position. Only two wins are missing in Bonn, but they still have three catch-up games in which they can catch up with the Rhinelanders. The winning streak of the albatrosses in the BBL grew to seven on the last day of the game. There, Berlin clearly won 89:57 against Bamberg and thus against the team that could still contest the playoff participation of today’s opponent.
