Basketball association cancels duel with Russians for Sunday
The Dutch basketball association has decided that the international match of Orange against Russia next Sunday in Almere will not take place. “This is partly in view of the reactions in the Netherlands, the demonstrations and the social unrest”, the organization said.
The Dutch team played a qualifying match in Russia earlier in the week. The selection was already there when Russia invaded Ukraine.
