French women’s fashion brand Ba&sh has entered a new market. On Thursday, the clothing retailer opened its first flagship store in Singapore together with its local distribution partner Bluebell Group. The new store is located in the popular Marina Bay Sands shopping center.
The two Ba&sh founders Barbara Boccara and Sharon Krief explained the choice of location: “Singapore is not only the central hub in Southeast Asia, but also a bridge between East and West,” they explained in a statement. The opening of the new flagship is also “an important step for the brand to expand the Asia-Pacific market segment”.
According to its own information, the label, which was founded in 2003, was able to increase its sales by 22 percent to 310 million euros in the most recent financial year, 2022. 60 percent of this came from international business.
