Baseball players RCH lose to direct competitor for important fourth place

A disappointing evening for RCH Penguins. The baseball club from Heemstede lost 3-1 to visit Twins Oosterhout. As a result, the play-offs have become further out of sight for RCH.

The top four teams qualify for the play-offs. Neptunus, HCAW and Amsterdam Pirates have already secured a place in this dessert of the season. RCH Pinguins and Twins Oosterhout decide in a triptych who gets that last ticket. At the moment, the team from Heemsteden are fifth in the league and the difference with number four Twins is four points. That means that the baseball club of trainer Joshua Zara must win the other two games of the Brabant team.

Should RCH reach the play-offs, it will be the first time in club history. The second game is scheduled for Saturday. At 3 p.m. at the sports park in Heemstede. On Sunday, both teams will meet again in Oosterhout.
