Başakşehir Football Club signed a cooperation agreement with City Football Group (CFG), which includes Manchester City, one of the English Premier League teams.
According to the agreement, CFG will provide consultancy to Başakşehir on various football projects, including long-term football strategy, player screening, transfer and process training. The group will also provide the orange-dark blue club with guidance focused on long-term planning and sustainability, with best practices on player transfer strategies, academy development and the use of data-driven insights.
Making a statement on the subject, City Football Group Managing Director Brian Marwood stated that he was happy about the agreement and said, “We are very happy to sign this cooperation agreement. Başakşehir FK President Göksel Gümüşdağ emphasized that he was proud of the signed agreement and said:

CFG is majority-owned by Newton Investment and Development LLC, which is owned by Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed. 18.16 percent of the shares belong to the US-based technology investment company Silver Lake.
