Bas Smit apparently has extreme last night last minute canceled a live interview with Shownieuws. What was going on behind the scenes? Was he furious about the announcement?
It seems that it is bumblebee between Bas Smit and the people of Shownieuws. Although presenter Manuel Venderbos announced in the opening yesterday evening that they would switch live with Bas and his wife Nicolette van Dam, a few minutes later he was suddenly ‘too busy’ to give another interview.

It seems very likely that these are related. Was there a crisis behind the scenes? Was Bas angry that Shownieuws would pay attention to Yvonne’s juice? Did Bas threaten something? For example, with the withdrawal of Shownieuws’ press accreditation for its events?
