Bas Smit and Nicolette van Dam always play the cheerful influencer couple on ‘Insta’, but behind the scenes, according to Mark Koster, they become ‘furious’ at a slight contradiction.
The general public has no idea, but the show media is well aware of which stars can and which absolutely cannot take criticism. According to media journalist Mark Koster, Bas Smit and Nicolette van Dam certainly belong to the latter camp. “If you contradict them, it will make them furious. They can’t stand it.”
Angry Bass
Mark enters this statement The Juice Show, his entertaining podcast with Yvonne Coldeweijer. In it, he previously suggested that Bas would have bought his lead in some influencer list. According to Yvonne, the over-aged influencer was furious about that. “He was white hot. He was really f*cking angry about that.”
Fortunately, his sweetheart Nicolette says she can handle criticism better than he does, because she is currently under fire. The actress has been portrayed in the infamous podcast De Shitshow as someone who has completely lost her ability to put things into perspective. She is quite dramatic about her torn cruciate ligament.
‘Does not matter!’
Mark agrees wholeheartedly. “In De Shitshow, Stéphanie Hoogenberk lashed out at the woman we nominate this week for the closing section Je Doet Er Niet Toe. Now I’m going to sigh: Nicolette van Dam.”
Yvonne, also sighing: “Oh, it’s all getting too much for me.”
Mark: “The Amsterdam-South princess who broke her ankle while skiing.”
Yvonne: “Terrible.”
Affectation
Mark thinks that Stéphanie is absolutely right about her Nicolette-rant. “If all the people who break their ankle act like this woman… Sigh. Do you know? It’s unprecedented anyway. She is in that world with that Bas, that friend of hers, and no one contradicts these people.”
Yvonne: “Except for Stéphanie. But so do we?”
Mark: “That’s why I nominate her for the section Je Doet Er Niet Toe. Nicolette, stop it.”
Yvonne: “Put things into perspective a bit, because there are people who have experienced worse things than a broken ankle.”
‘She’s very scary’
Yvonne shares on her juice channel also a big sneer from a spy to Nicolette: “She is really scary! Too arrogant to look at. I complimented her on her dress and asked where it was from. She says: ‘Is already old’, and turns her head away and walks away. (…) Madame stayed away from everyone.”
And is there actually any juice left over Bas? The juice queen: “Most asked question every day. People are obsessed with juice about Bas Smit. I think because life with Nicolette seems so ‘perfect’. There are always stories about celebrities going around, but I haven’t heard a concrete story about Bas yet. Only vague.”
“I do know from Nicolette that she cheated with Memphis years ago. But Bas knows this too. 😂”
