Bas finds a wedding ring on the street, but who lost it?

A wedding ring in the gutter, that is not very common. Bas from Breda saw something glittering in the gutter along Oosterhoutseweg on Sunday and fished out a white gold wedding ring. His girlfriend Lenneke contacted Omroep Brabant: “It would be a shame if the ring did not end up with the owner, because it probably has emotional value for someone.”

The couple lives near the Oosterhoutseweg, near the railway crossing. At that moment, Bas wanted to pick up their electric car across the street. “As he approached the track, he saw the ring lying in the gutter, just next to the sidewalk. But yes, how are we going to find the owner?”

In a Breda Facebook group where found and missing objects are shared, she did not see any recent messages. They have considered bringing the ring to the municipality of Breda. “But somehow we are afraid that the owner will never find the ring again.”

A name is engraved in the ring, with a heart behind it. “It’s a very small ring, it only fits on my little finger. So the ring must belong to someone with slender fingers.”

We will not mention the name in the ring just yet. So that it is possible to check whether it is the rightful owner who reports. Are you or do you know the person who lost the ring? Then contact Omroep Brabant.
