Bart Versluys wants heavy compensation after brutal robbery and theft of a watch

Versluys is asking for 350,000 euros in material damages for his timepiece and Dheedene for 248,000 euros. Both victims also demand 5,000 euros in moral damages. “My client was deeply impressed by the facts,” said Dheedene’s lawyer.
Construction promoter Bart Versluys was attacked on April 1, 2022 in the Zandvoordestraat in Ostend. A weapon was shown and pepper spray was used. The victim was beaten by two suspects, who robbed him of his watch. It was a watch from Richard Mille worth about 350,000 euros and Versluys promised a reward for anyone who could provide information. (continue reading below the video)
