“I came to sell the piece with a lot of doubt,” the politician says emotionally. “When I went to get it out of the safe in the bank this morning, my heart started to break a little. Crying was closer to me than laughing. And with every meter I drove here, my courage sank a little further to distance myself from it. It is mainly the story behind it: the connection with my own father who died quite young and of course that Roman history. it is my dearest piece.” The politician wants to donate the proceeds of the sale to a good cause.
