At the Weerdingerweg in Valthe, a barn went up in flames around 5:30 PM. The raging fire caused the building, where wood was stored, to be completely reduced to ashes. No one was injured in the fire.
The owner of the barn suspects that the fire was started, according to the man, the barn had no electricity connection. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
