Barkov’s Panthers are on a winning streak – the rookie hit twice

Aleksander Barkov’s statistics tell of an excellent autumn.

The Florida Panthers’ regular season last season was a dark mess at times, but now it’s going well.

Alexander Barkov the skippered team beat the Chicago Blackhawks 4-3 in Sunday’s early game, extended their winning streak to four and moved into second place in their division.

Panthers’ Finnish quartet Barkov–Anton LundellEetu LuostarinenNiko Mikkola remained ineffective. However, Barkov played a big role: six shots, power reading +2 and 14 of 18 starts.

Barkov’s power rating for the entire season is +12. The above are only Quinn Hughes (+15), William Karlsson (+13) and Brayden McNabb (+13).

Puck analyst Dimitri Filipovic threw on his X account after Sunday’s game, hard stats on Barkov’s five-on-five play this fall: goals 15-3, shots 116-72, and dangerous spots 49-21.

Bedard at a point per game pace

The power man of the match was the winger of the first team led by Barkov, who was in a great mood Sam Reinhart: 2+2. He has scored ten points in the last four games.

Reinhart has wedged himself into the top ranks in both goal and point markets: 14 matches, 21 (11+10) points.

Newcomer Connor Bedard scored two smart goals against the Panthers. He is now on a point-per-game pace: 13 games, 13 (9+4) hits.
