Those rising temperatures can cause the 20 degrees to be tapped! “Because the east wind drives away the clouds, the temperature gradually rises. Maybe we will reach 20 degrees on Tuesday, but otherwise later in the week.”

To call a day a ‘spring day’, it must be 15 degrees or more at the measuring station in De Bilt. This year we are late with the first day of spring, because last year the mercury already rose to 15 degrees on March 10. In the three years before that, the 15 degrees was already reached in mid-February.
