Barcelona allocates one million euros to the improvement of commercial windows

Locals can take advantage of this new call for aid from this May 14 to September 30. Every substitution will be subsidized with maximum of 2,000 euros and each holder may request up to one maximum of three aids of change of blinds that will cover the supply, transport and installation costs from the same. Grants will be awarded for arrival order of requests to run out of budget expected one million euros.

Barcelona City Council, in addition to this initiative, has launched the grants to boost the digitization of shops and restoration. These grants have a budget of €750,000 that, in the same way as the previous ones, will be granted in order of requests and will cover up to 50% of total expenses of the digitization of each trade, being able to choose a maximum of 3,500 euros.

This item of subsidies is intended to facilitate the adaptation of the local commercial fabric of Barcelona to the new consumption habits and boost the online sales channelsthus reinforcing its online presence. These grants will be used for the preparation of digital business strategiesto the digital communication (blogs, websites, social networks), to the elaboration of strategies of digital marketing and to the opening or reinforcement of online sales channels. Applications can be submitted now at the Barcelona City Council website and the term to do so ends on May 30.
