What do you do if you want to celebrate the 25th anniversary of your barbershop? Ester Otten, owner of Ester’s Haarmode in Schoonoord, discussed this question with her staff. ‘One complements the other and that’s how you come up with crazy ideas’.
Ester and her team came up with the plan to keep all the cut hair in the period from reopening after the lock down until the anniversary on March 1. Customers can guess how much the hump of hair weighs to win prizes. ‘Is it a crazy idea? Yes, maybe a little, but funny, so it’s allowed!’
