Bang! BVB official before being thrown out

After rumors of dissonance at Borussia Dortmund, there are now apparently personnel consequences in the executive suite. A BVB official is said to be threatened with expulsion.

According to “Sky” reporter Patrick Berger, this is Slaven Stanic, sports coordinator and close colleague of Sebastian Kehl. “We are currently not assuming that he will still be in office when BVB travels to the training camp in Marbella in January,” explained the journalist.

An incident was confirmed to him, which “Sport Bild” had recently reported on. Accordingly, after the Champions League home game against AC Milan (0-0), Stanic mocked coach Edin Terzic in a semi-public setting in a box at Signal Iduna Park.

In any case, there is an accusation that the ex-professional, who was only hired in May, is creating a “mood against the coach,” said Berger. BVB boss Hans-Joachim Watzke demands “unconditional loyalty” to Terzic.

Insider Berger explained that there are currently “two camps” in Dortmund’s leadership. “It’s not peace, joy, pancakes. Recently there have been a lot of disagreements in personnel and transfer issues.”

BVB: No “dissent” between Edin Terzic and Sebastian Kehl?

Watzke, Terzic and advisor Matthias Sammer therefore form a sworn unit. Kehl supposedly does not belong to this narrow circle. Instead, he brought two assistants to his side, Stanic and Daniel Beiderbeck, officially Head of Projects and Development at BVB, one of whom now apparently has to resign again.

Watzke recently denied tensions between Terzic and Kehl in an interview with the “Ruhr Nachrichten”.

“The two agree on most points. Their relationship is completely ok,” said the BVB boss. He sees “no disagreement between the two.”

When asked about the alleged incident surrounding Stanic, Watzke remained tight-lipped. “I don’t have enough contact with him and don’t want to comment on this issue at the moment,” he explained.
