The fire brigade went out in Helmond on Sunday evening to help a fallow deer. He had just broken loose from a deer park and then went on an adventure.
The animal crossed several roads and even passed a canal while swimming. It then entered a business park at the Kanaaldijk Zuid-Oost, near the N612. Here it decided to lie down behind a stack of pallets, exhausted.
Someone saw the animal walking and called 112, following the fallow deer. The animal was caught with a catch stick and taken away by the owner.
