Ken Fontijn was from the Amsterdam brand Balr. appointed Managing Director.
Fontijn has assumed his new role on July 1st, Balr announced. on Wednesday on Linkedin with. He is responsible for all sales channels, marketing, product development and day-to-day operations.
“I look forward to joining the Balr. team and playing a pivotal role in the brand’s international growth,” said Fontijn. “There is so much potential for Balr. and I can’t wait to capitalize on this one.”
Before going to Balr. he worked as an independent consultant, according to his Linkedin profile. Before that, he was Head of Marketing for the electronics retailer Media Markt in the Netherlands and General Manager for the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg at the online retailer Zalando in Berlin.
