At around 2.10 a.m. on Thursday night, the Berlin fire brigade was alerted in Morsbronner Weg to Mariendorf.
There were furnishings and a wooden floor on a fire on the second floor of a four-story apartment building.
The fire was quickly brought under control with the rapid intervention of the fire brigade. This prevented the flames from spreading into the apartment.
Before the fire brigade arrived, nine residents, including the residents of the fire apartment, got themselves to safety.
