‘Balancé’ at Breuninger: Ballet in the Kö-Bogen showcase

The Stuttgart fashion retailer and the Ballet am Rhein put on a special performance in Düsseldorf over the weekend.

Dancers performed choreographies created by choreographers Wun Sze Chan and Daniel Smith in the shop window of the Kö-Bogen – where the retailer’s Düsseldorf flagship is located, Breuninger announced on Monday. The floor of the fifty meter long shop window front was specially clad with a special dance floor.

“Breuninger is not just a fashion and lifestyle company – we see ourselves as an integral part of the city. “It is therefore important to us to address all of the city’s concerns and to share the beautiful things in life with the people of Düsseldorf on a local level,” said Andreas Rebbelmund, Managing Director of Breuninger Düsseldorf. “Of course, this also includes the important art and culture scene in the city. We want to create something in Düsseldorf that hasn’t existed in this form before.”
