From 1981 to 1997, Piet Keur played football for HFC Haarlem, Feyenoord and AZ, among others. He never did strength training at that time. “I’ve never done it. I didn’t like it at all,” says Keur.
From 1993 to 1995 Keur played football under Foppe de Haan at Heerenveen. It was there that he first heard about strength training. “I got the giggles of course,” says Keur.
Gertjan Verbeek
