Baking gingerbread nuts for the Princess Maxima Center: ‘Then more children can get better’

Students at CBS Beatrix Child Center in Meppel can hardly see gingerbread cookies anymore. They baked six kilos last week.

The gingerbread nuts were sold on the schoolyard today. The proceeds go to the Princess Maxima Center for research into childhood cancer. “So that more children can get better,” eight-year-old Susan explains.

Together with her teacher, Susan devised the campaign for the Princess Maxima Center, with help from children from groups 7 and 8. Together they looked for sponsors and made flyers.
