2nd station in Turkey
Cédric Bakambu was unveiled as a new signing by Al-Nasr SC on 29 June but less than a month later and without a game for the club, the forward is back. The 32-year-old is moving to top Turkish club Galatasaray, with whom he is expected to sign for two or three years.
Gala is said to be paying 900,000 euros for Bakambu, who moved to the United Arab Emirates for free after the end of his contract at Olympiakos. The reigning champions are the second stop in Turkey for the DR Congo international, where he played for Bursaspor between 2014 and 2015 and contributed 21 goals and seven assists in 40 appearances. As of now, Bakambu is one of only two learned nines in the Galatasaray squad, which is said to be about to sign Mauro Icardi on a permanent basis.
