Mulberry has evolved its modern ‘softie’ bag style into an outerwear collection for Fall Winter 2022.
Launched in February 2022, the softie bag caused quite a stir with its signature puffy quilting. This signature detail has been translated into an outerwear collection that “merges functionality with fashion sensibility and style with pragmatism,” explains Mulberry.
Described as a “natural evolution” of softie bags, the eight-piece ready-to-wear collection shares the same sleek, structured feel, which is broken down into three jackets, a vest and two coats – a midi belt and a roomy coat – as well as a scarf and a skirt shows.
The gender-neutral collection is designed with Mulberry’s ‘Made to Last’ ethos in mind. Each piece is upholstered with recycled silk, while the outer faces of the garments are made from recycled nylon.
Collection highlights include the quilted softie bomber jacket, shell jacket, hooded puffer jacket and scarf, available in a reduced color palette of black, khaki, mulberry green and tobacco brown.
The collection will be available in stores worldwide and on mulberry.com from October 3rd.
