A true love story. As Vincent Castaldo defines his twenty years in Pomellato, since 2015 as creative director. A give and take. «When I arrived from the world of fashion, I first understood that with jewelery you work on timeless themeof the timeless. It’s like writing a novel, you always add a few chapters but you never distort the story». Castaldo gave the jewelery brand the opportunity to evolve, «to enrich existing collections with new jewels, also adding a more playful and irreverent soul». Thus working in unison to transform the «family business into an international brand».
Not a simple “couple relationship”, but almost a love triangle: «Me, Milan and Pomellato we interact all the time. I immediately loved the sophisticated elegance of this city, the “soft voice”, the desire not to show off. All traits that I share». The quilted bags by Miu Miu
There are elements capable of identifying immediately and visually a brand. And of the so-called “trademarks” the history of fashion is dotted. One example above all: the matelasséa process connected by the experts fashion addicted to Miu Miu and, in particular, to one of his most famous collections of bags. The maison pays homage to this special finish, obtained by coupling nappa panels with padding and an elastic fabric to obtain a stretch effect, by retracing the models and color variations.
Not just accessories, but icons with which to enrich and embellish the wardrobe. Visions that don’t need a logo.
