Badr Hari will not stop after all, will step back into the ring in September at Glory 88

It seemed that kickboxer Badr Hari was going to stop kickboxing, but he steps back into the ring anyway. In September he will compete against the English during Glory 88 James McSweeney. Remarkable, because the Amsterdammer has not won a match since 2016. After his last game, he seemed to announce his retirement.

Despite the defeats of recent years, Hari remains a crowd pleaser for Glory. He is therefore well paid for this by the martial arts organization, because the winner of the fight receives a considerable amount: 500,000 dollars.

The opponent of the now 38-year-old Hari is also an experienced fighter. The 42-year-old McSweeney only fought one match for Glory. He lost that match to Gökhan Saki. The Brit first fought in K1 and then he became known in MMA (mixed martial arts).

It seems that the fight on September 9 in Paris is really his last match. On his Instagram page, Hari says, “One last time.”
