The warning code yellow due to bad weather that the KNMI issued earlier today for the entire country, only applies to the western coastal provinces and Friesland and Groningen for tonight. Code yellow has ended for Drenthe and the other provinces.
Code yellow means that there are regular showers with possible thunderstorms, hail and heavy wind gusts. Wind gusts with a force of up to 75 kilometers per hour can arise at the sea. The wind is from a northwesterly direction. Traffic and outdoor activities may be hindered by this, according to the KNMI.
Road users along the coast and around the IJsselmeer should take into account heavy gusts of wind, especially during (thunder) showers.
