The women of Telstar started the away match against sc Heerenveen disconcertingly weak. The Frisians were 2-0 within ten minutes and expanded the score to 4-1 in the remaining time.
In the first minute, goalkeeper Kelly Steen was outwitted from a great distance by Jet van Beijeren: 1-0. The opening phase became even more painful, after Janneke Ennema doubled the lead of the Frisians. Chelly Drost completed the malaise before the break by running into a second yellow card.

Heerenveen was not tempered in the attacking drive in the second half. Eennema made it 3-0 soon after the break. The substitute Samya Hassani made another contribution for Telstar, but it was to no avail. Nina Nijstad even scored the 4-1 in injury time.
Telstar is ninth with one game left. VV Alkmaar is free this weekend, while Ajax Women will play tomorrow. Fortuna Sittard is the opponent from 7 p.m.
