Bachelorette 2: Neverland: the plot
Eleonora (Antonia Liskova) he must get married. The betrothed is a somewhat crude mechanic, as it is said El tigre. With her, waiting for the big day, are her best friends. But her future husband will never arrive, because he runs away in panic. Polina, the mother, entrusts Eleonora with a jewelery box, which contains some things belonging to his father, killed years earlier in an attack. There are three teeth in the box. Polina predicts to Eleonora that she will have her much desired child. But he asks the woman to fulfill her father’s last wish: be buried in Gorizia, in a small cemetery on the border between Italy and Slovenia.
Eleonora and her three bridesmaids, Vanessa, Linda and Akikothey undertake a trip on the roadwhich allows the bride to distract herself from the missed wedding. One of the three is pregnant, but doesn’t know who the father is. To find out, the friends stop in a sort of ashram with Babaji’s followers, where the woman had a shamanic experience with ayahuaska, a hallucinogenic drink.

In the center, a goat eats Eleonora’s father’s teeth. The goat is then added to the group, waiting for it to give back its teeth. The cast is the same as the first film: Chiara Francini plays Vanessa (who is also a bit of Chiara Francini): she is the funniest character, very ironic and sarcastic, with a cynicism that only children will be able to dissolve. The cast is very close-knit and the actresses play their roles very well. In an interview, Francini explained how important the bond between the four female characters was. «The quartet works», said the actress, «because there is an authentic friendship between the protagonists, a true sisterhood, and when she and her colleagues laughed, it was all true, it wasn’t just mere needs dictated by the script.”
