In the recent editorial of Basta Baby by A24, Baby Etchecopar once again targeted Javier Milei, this time focused on what he considers an “excess” of trips by the President to the United States. The driver, who often criticizes the president, questioned why Milei is absent while – as he stated – the most urgent economic and social problems persist.
Etchecopar recalled that the United States was a key actor during Milei’s mandate, both for financial support in the October campaign and for the string of subsequent institutional visits, many of them accompanied by his sister Karina. In this framework, he demanded that the President “stay in Argentina” and prioritize the internal situation before his international ties.
Then, he delivered an editorial full of direct criticism:
“It is a shame that the President, who has not yet solved any problem in Argentina – economic, that people are starving, that businesses are closing, that no one has money in their pockets – travels to the USA every day. If my old man, El Vasco, had been alive, he would have said: “But what’s wrong with you, idiot, with the United States?” he shot.
“He is in love with the United States: he goes, looks at them and applauds them with the carpet. Enough, brother, stay here. Come here. Solve the issues here. The sister the other day seeing Tini, which is a wink to Lali Espósito. This political nonsense of saying ‘this one yes and the other no. What a messy and boring country.'” he concluded.
The driver’s release reignited the debate about the frequency of Milei’s trips and its impact on public perception of management.
