A woman became a mother on Sunday night in a very unusual place: on the A16 near Breda. Officers reported this on Instagram around two o’clock.
The message from the agents is short, but contains only good news:
“We have just supported a birth on the A16 highway. When we arrived on scene, the baby in the car had just been born. Mother and child are doing well. To the new parents, congratulations again.”
The parents were most likely already on their way to the hospital, but were too late. When officers arrived on the scene, the baby had just been born. They are both doing well.
It is not known who the new parents are and what the child’s name is.
