The Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense has launched what it says is “anti-terror activities” in Nagorno-Karabakh, targeting Armenian forces in the area. According to Armenian separatist authorities, Stepanakert, the capital of the disputed region, and other towns in the area have been targeted by “heavy shooting”. At least two civilians are said to have been killed in the military operation. And 23 people were also injured.
