Haitian boxer who competed in the 2008 Olympics Azea Augustama was arrested in the USA in the city of Miami on suspicion of planning a mass shooting. An American tells about it TMZ– news site.

According to a witness, Augustama was stripped of his membership in a boxing gym in Miami after the boxer got into an argument with another person.

On Tuesday of last week, Augustama was supposed to go to the gym once more, escorted by the police, to pick up his belongings, which, however, had disappeared.

According to the witness, the ex-boxing star had then raged on social media and threatened human lives with a firearm. Among other things, Augustama published a video clip taken at a pawn shop where he said he wanted an AK-47 assault rifle.

At the 2008 Olympics, Augustama competed in the first round of the heavyweight division, but lost to Brazil Washington to Silva.
