In the first leg in the eighth final of the Conference League against Bodø/Glimt, AZ will have to do without Fredrik Midtsjø. The Norwegian midfielder is not included in the 22-man squad of trainer Pascal Jansen.
Midtsjø is still not fit enough to be part of the match selection. He was also missing from the selection of the Alkmaarders in the cup match against Ajax and in the league match against NEC.
Milos Kerkez, Kamal Sowah and youth players Maxim Dekker, Zico Buurmeester and Mexx Meerdink make their debut in the European selection of the Alkmaarders.
The Bodø/Glimt – AZ match starts on Thursday evening at 9 p.m.
