At the request of AZ, the KNVB has moved the home game against Sparta forward a day. The game was scheduled for Sunday, April 9, but is now scheduled for Saturday, April 8 at 8:00 PM.
This change has to do with AZ’s European matches. The Alkmaarders will play the quarterfinals of the Conference League on Thursday, April 13. Now AZ has an extra day of rest in preparation for this duel in Brussels with Anderlecht. The return in Alkmaar against the Belgians is on Thursday, April 20.
This match rescheduling also has consequences for the starting time of Ajax – Fortuna Sittard. This meeting now starts on Sunday, April 9 at 4:45 p.m.
