Swedish footwear brand Axel Arigato has entered the Chinese market by launching its first-ever e-commerce flagship on the Tmall platform, owned by Chinese online giant Alibaba.

The move aims to expand the direct-to-consumer model and customer-centric approach while building an “authentic conversation” with the Chinese community after the brand has enjoyed positive growth over the past two years.

To celebrate the launch, Axel Arigato has launched an exclusive Chinese Valentine’s Day capsule. The capsule is only available on Tmall and consists of two sneaker models.
