Awarding of a very expensive contract for friend of railway boss Dutordoir did not go correctly: NMBS asks the Court of Audit for a thorough investigation

A friend of railway boss Sophie Dutordoir was the highest-paid consultant at a subsidiary of the NMBS for two years. He earned 2,200 euros a day. An internal audit now shows that the allocation of that contract was not done correctly. Dutordoir himself is exonerated: “There was no form of pressure from the CEO.” The NMBS does ask the Court of Audit for a thorough investigation.
