Singer Avril Lavigne, 37, is engaged to his music lover Mod Sun, 35. Based on a picture published by Lavigne on Instagram, the courtship could not have been much more romantic. Pictured is Sun kneeling in front of a loved one in Paris as the Eiffel Tower splits in the background.
The singer reveals that they were engaged on March 27th.
Lavigne revealed details of the courtship to People.
– It was the most perfect courtship I can imagine. We were boating on the Seine. There was a violinist, champagne and roses. It felt like time had stopped and at that moment we were the only two of us, Lavigne describes.
Sun has released many pictures of the situation. The shots show Lavigne’s eye-catching ring with a heart-shaped diamond.
The text “Hi Icon” is engraved inside the Lavigne ring. These are the first words his loved one said to him. The couple also had Heart Rings on their date.
