The fall/winter collection from LIEBESKIND BERLIN will appear in July and September 2023. Its materials, shapes and colors are inspired by a concert evening. Soft upholstery, heavy velvet curtains, dark wood paneling and the clear structures of a concert hall are the source of inspiration for the bags. Soft, padded leather meets hard, sonorous metal elements. A soft symphony is created by the pastel colors that accompany the shapes of the bags. The palette of brown tones offers warmth and unfolds a musicality in combination with the more expressive shades of radiant, vitamin, flow or gold.
LIEBESKIND BERLIN invites you to a concert of colours, shapes and sounds. The focus is on the sensual experience, the search for one’s own sound, the voices of others and the diversity of Berlin.
Helene in the spotlight
The Helene bag draws everyone’s attention with its finesse, based on its namesake Helene Weigel, a former actress and artistic director of the Berliner Ensemble. Their soft and padded material is contrasted by metal chain elements. The tone and feel of the chain give it depth, which is complemented by the beautiful, rounded clasp.
Take off with Melli
Another heroine is Melli, who transports both softness and a sharp structure. Inspired by Melli Beese, the first German pilot, the design combines a flowing body with a strong statement.
Icons in a new guise
Softness and structure are also reflected in the materials. Shearling adds a fluffy texture for extra comfort. It skilfully dissolves linear structures and shows Mara or the Paper Bag in a new way.
