Autumn weather with heavy showers on the way | Inland

From tomorrow it will be cooler and from Friday there will be a period with ‘real autumn weather’, according to Weeronline. That means showers, strong wind and on Sunday even a temperature between 12 and 15 degrees.

On Wednesday it will rain mainly in the south of the Netherlands, in the north the sun will show itself every now and then. In sunny places it can still be 20 degrees, where it rains it is 16 degrees.

Thursday we will have to deal with cooler air from the north and the afternoon temperature will be 18 degrees. It is still dry in most places.

thunderstorms

From Friday the wind will get stronger: at the sea the northwest wind can reach force 7. Showers will move over the land from the North Sea, causing thunderstorms in the coastal areas. “There is a moderate northwest wind, often strong at the sea, and it gets about 16 degrees between showers. This makes it on the fresh side for the time of year,” said Weerplaza weatherman Raymond Klaassen. According to Klaassen, a temperature of around 19 degrees is usual in mid-September.

Especially Friday and Sunday are wet, with a temperature between 14 and 17 degrees and on Sunday it will not be warmer than 12 to 15 degrees. At the beginning of next week it will be drier and sunnier, later in the week the weather will become more variable. The temperature rises slightly during the day but remains somewhat lower at night.
