During the autumn holidays, Staatsbosbeheer has its mobile gnome office in the Bentwoud for two days. For a fee, small children can look for gnomes with a filled bag.

A well-filled gnome bag
There is a caravan in the Bentwoud-West car park (Wilde Venenpad) where you can collect your pre-booked bag. This contains a folding card with assignments, a pointed hat and a gnome backpack. Children can search for gnome tracks, color and be read to under supervision. The excursion lasts one hour and the route is marked with posts and wooden gnomes.
This is how you give up
Children from 3 to 7 years old and their parents can participate in the special Kabouterdagen on Saturday 22 and Wednesday 26 October. A ticket costs 5.95 euros per child, adults are free.
