After two years it was finally time again: the Autocross turned Venhuizen upside down again. At least 170 participants came to Hem today, the place where the races started. Organizer Adri Veken was happy with the successful edition: “taking final quote from video”
“Happy racing and drinking good beer later”, says one visitor. People from all over the neighborhood were already queuing early in the morning at the event to get the best seat.
According to one of the visitors, it is mainly the togetherness on this day that makes it so special. “On the track you compete with each other, but outside the race field everyone helps each other.”
Tension
The atmosphere was also good among the crossers themselves. They couldn’t wait to start racing. “It’s really my hobby. It’s the tension. You can go crazy on the track.”
According to organizer Adri Veken, it is another successful edition. “There is never rottenness or misery. It is the most beautiful”, he says with tears in his eyes.
