Salzburg won this Sunday for the ninth time in a row the title of champion of the Austrian League after beating Austria Vienna 5-0, with four games remaining in the competition.
The team led by German coach Matthias Jaissle left no chances for their capital rival, who is currently fourth in the standings. The goals of the Salzburg marked them Noah Okafor, Karim Adeyemi, Luka Sucic, Brenden Aaronson and Mohamed Camarathe last two penalties.
With four games to go, Salzburg have 55 points, to 37 from second-placed Sturm Graz.
It is the 15th league title for Salzburg and being the ninth in a row he enters a ‘club’ that he only shares with the Bulgarian Ludogorets and Bayern Munich.
