Australia has confirmed the purchase of more than 120 tanks and other armored vehicles from the United States. That writes the newspaper The Sydney Morning Herald Monday (local time). The deal is worth 3.5 billion Australian dollars (2.21 billion euros). Australian Defense Secretary Peter Dutton will confirm the deal on Monday, after the US government approved the potential purchase last year.
