Crash and escape from the accident in Berlin-Hellersdorf on Saturday morning!
At around 4 a.m. in the morning, the driver of an Audi rammed into a massive concrete lantern on Louis-Lewin-Strasse.
The lantern was thrown onto the street after the impact. The driver fled with the badly damaged Audi to Zerbster Strasse. He got out of the car and fled on foot.
A police search nearby was unsuccessful. The vehicle was secured and the search for the driver is ongoing.
Firefighters recovered the massive lantern from the street.
